Here in Loreto Bray, we strive to combine academic excellence with a wide variety of educational experiences and student wellbeing to enable our students to reach their full potential. Our care for our students is rooted in our Mary Ward values of Truth, Justice, Freedom, Sincerity and Joy.
We have a dedicated and dynamic staff who are generous with their time and skills to support our students throughout their post-primary education journey. The strong, supportive relationships between our staff and our students are a unique feature of our school, and that special bond helps our students to take their rightful place as well-rounded and contributory members of society. We provide a wide range of curricular and extracurricular activities based on a strong Loreto tradition, enabling our students to live out the vision of our foundress, Mary Ward, that “women in time to come will do much”.
Our students are inspirational, creating a joyful and cohesive learning community here in Loreto Bray. They are exposed to countless opportunities to flourish, to foster leadership and to develop their confidence. It is a privilege to work with them, and to support them in their journey to become well-rounded, strong, compassionate young people ready to “go set the world on fire”, as encouraged by Teresa Ball, the first sister to bring the Loreto tradition to Ireland.
