Launch of Strategic Plan


We were delighted to launch our Strategic Development Plan 2023-2026 on Monday September 18th in the Mary Ward APA. This is an exciting roadmap which our school will embark upon over the next 3 years.

School Mass


The Opening School Mass was held in the Holy Redeemer Church on Friday September 22nd. Father Michael O'Keeffe led a beautiful servive which also included powerful and poignant speeches by Head Girl, Sofia Garanovschi and Principal, Ms. Ryan.

During the service, our 6th Year Senior Prefects were commissioned. Many thanks to the R.E. Department for organising the mass and the Music Department for the wonderful music accompaniment.



We were delighted to launch the inaugural Loreto Bray Invitational Golf Competition, kindly sponsored by Bray Credit Union, last week. The event will take place in Bray Golf Club on Thursday September 28th and will see schools from Wicklow and South Dublin compete for individual and team prizes.

Open Night

We hosted our Open Night on Tuesday September 19th and welcomed over 500 prospective students and parents/ guardians. Our extensive academic and extra curricular opportunities were showcased.

A big thanks to all of our staff and students who helped out on the night.

Sports Day

School Sports Day took place on Thursday September 14th and saw glorious sunshine and great competition. Students competed in a range of athletics, novelty and fancy dress events. A special mention to Mr. Douglas, Mr. Guerin, Ms. Lynch and Mr. Rice who saw the the teachers retain their relay title.

1st - 6th Year Bonding Afternoon


The 1st Year-6th Year Bonding afternoon took place on Monday September 18th. 1st Years met their 6th Year buddies and participated in a range of fun filled activities.

6th Year Higher Options

Our 6th Year students attended Higher Options in the RDS on Thursday last. Many thanks to Mr. Sweeney for organising this.

Transition Year News

Transition Year students have had a busy past couple of weeks, partaking in Circus Skills, Gaisce Hike, Child Safeguarding Course, GAA Course and fundraising for a number of charities.
