First Year (U14)

Woodlands Academy 0-5 Loreto Bray

Goalscorers: Ava Godfrey (2), Hannah Dunne, Leah Poynton and Katie Shaw

The girls played very well on this day and were very good in front of goal, as whatever chances came their way they put in the net. Along with the scorers, Ava Kelly and Lauren Foley played well.

Loreto Bray 0-0 Loreto Dalkey

This was a game between two evenly matched teams with very few goalscoring chances going to either team. On the day Hannah Dunne, Ella Cummins and Ava Godfrey did best for Bray.

Minor Team (U15)

GNM Arklow 5-0 Loreto Bray

This was a game where we came up against a very strong and physical team. With our team been mainly made up of first years we were always going to be up against it. Even though we created some scoring chances we were second best on the day. Aisling Thompson and Erin Ivie were among the best players for us on the day.

Junior Team (U17)

Loreto Bray 1-7 Loreto Dalkey

Goalscorer: Hannah Martin

We went into this game minus all our TY players which meant our team on duty was very young. Fair play to our players who gave it their all and Hannah’s late goal was scant consolation for the team’s efforts. On the day Erica Brierton, Hannah Dunne and Georgia Treacy were among our better performers.

Senior Team

Loreto Bray 7-0 Lycée Français Irlande

Goalscorers: Lara Hayden (3), Keeley McDermott (2) and Amy Walsh (2)

Our opposition were from a French school in Dublin and what they lacked in experience they more than made up for in effort. In this game we had our very own “Goal of the Season” with some of the goals we scored been of the highest quality. On the day among the players to shine were the goalscorers, Caoimhe Lawrence, Aoife Temple and Ali Kennedy.

Loreto Bray 0-1 St Killians C.S.

This was a game where we never got our game going. Our play in the final third wasn’t up to scratch and we huffed & puffed in front of goal. On a day when many players were below par, Abbie Evans-Murray, Stacy Corpuz and Hollie Kane were our best players.

GNM Arklow 2-0 Loreto Bray

Though we didn’t play well in this game it wasn’t for the want of trying. Sometimes you don’t get what you deserve from a game and today was one of those days. Good team display.

There were Loreto schools from all over Ireland, including Loreto Clonmel, Letterkenny and Balbriggan to name a few.
