Project Maths Adventure Trail
On 26 September, nineteen Sixth Year students went to Larch Hill adventure centre for a Project Maths Adventure Trail. The students encountered many challenges which they had to solve using Project Maths. These included using a balancing beam and weights, measuring an unknown distance to a tree using triangles and finding out average speeds after running 200m.
The students also had some races on sledges and tried out an obstacle course. The day ended with an archery competition.
Everyone had a great time thanks to Ms. Byrne and Ms Dignan.
