Higher Options Conference in RDS – 20th September 2012

Sixth Year students will be attending the Higher Options Conference in the RDS Simmonscourt on Thursday 20th  September. This event will give the students an opportunity to meet directly with representatives of over 150 universities, colleges and institutues of further education under one roof. All the main Irish and UK universities will be exhibiting at this event.

There will be lectures on the various application systems and career talks by professionals from many areas. Details are available on www.higheroptions.ie.

This year the conference is being held in the Simmonscourt Hall, a change from the main RDS hall. This should give more space for the exhibitors.

Ms. O’Connor provides support to students in the area of subject selection as early as the pupil’s  first year in our school to ensure that, on completion of the Leaving Certificate Programme, the education path selected by each student offers her a wide range of third level opportunities.
